This Month at NSMG, July 2026

Summer is upon us and the local music scene is heating up. This can be a great time of year for gigging as outdoor spaces not only create more booking opportunities but also offer a visually appealing backdrop for live music. If you haven’t already booked or been booked for the summer, you’re probably realizing, at this point, that getting ahead of summer booking is a good strategy for 2027. If you are among the many who love to take in some local live music, however, you’re in luck as the listings around the North Shore are abundant!

What We’re Working On

Over the past month we’ve continued develop the NSMG website and community resources. In the coming months you’ll begin to see new features, including:

• A growing community events calendar

• More opportunities for local musicians to connect

• Community spotlights featuring musicians, venues, and organizations

• New ways for fans to discover live music happening close to home

This is just the beginning, and we’re excited to build it together.
